A straightforward but charming comedy with religious themes. The humor and overall feel seemed more reminiscent of the 1960s than its actual production date in the mid-70s. George Burns delivered a solid performance, and even John Denver was acceptable as the main character. I don’t anticipate wanting to see it again anytime soon, though. **3.25/5**
