It’s an enjoyable film that I’d happily watch again and feel comfortable suggesting to others. The idea of existing without experiencing joy is fascinating, but the premise itself doesn't immediately strike me as something naturally suited for the screen. The filmmakers seemed aware of this and made considerable efforts to overcome it. I think the actors they chose were a significant asset in that regard. I get why men might be overwhelmed by the prospect of being with Morena Baccarin, but Melissa Rauch is equally appealing. Both actresses delivered strong performances. The movie is entertaining, though the characters’ reasons sometimes become muddled, requiring more mental effort than usual as you have to attempt to see things from his perspective in order to grasp what's happening. Ultimately, it's a charming romantic story.
