The film’s production values were clearly high, however, the narrative felt like it lost momentum roughly an hour into its runtime. I found myself completely drawn in and invested as the premise unfolded—a repair team essentially having dominion over what remained of Earth. That concept alone could have sustained a two-hour movie, and I likely wouldn’t have minded. Despite this, there are positives to note; the film is visually striking, and M83 created an excellent score. Fans of science fiction might want to consider watching it, but temper your expectations. Ultimately, you may find yourself let down.
