I recently rewatched the film. The director, who also wrote the script, deserves credit for a screenplay filled with engaging plot developments and heartfelt moments, along with dialogue that is often quite good—occasionally even funny. It's truly an excellent film centered on Joe, where the clever writing slowly shows how this seemingly normal but cheerful person is cherished and mourned by those around him, especially Bokeh. The actors all deliver strong performances. Tithiya stands out as the endearing Bokeh, portraying a character with nuanced and understated emotions for Joe. I also want to acknowledge the other supporting players: Ohm, Liew, Joe's and Pae’s mothers, and the school principal—they were all very good.
