It's hard to deny Jordan Peele’s unique vision! He consistently delivers something unlike anything else out there. Even with the familiar premise of an alien invasion movie, he manages to keep it interesting with unexpected turns and a pervasive sense of unease. I haven’t encountered anything quite like it; the use of flashbacks is particularly effective in conveying deeper meanings. The connection between the two central characters was also well-done. My one reservation stems from the fact that the intense feeling of horror and suspense present early on diminishes considerably roughly halfway through the movie.
