It’s easy to understand why ‘Nomadland’ has generated so much buzz; the production values are exceptionally high and it possesses considerable emotional depth. Frances McDormand takes center stage, delivering a performance of remarkable quality. Several other members of the cast, many of whom are actual nomads living that lifestyle, also deserve recognition—Charlene Swankie stands out particularly for a memorable moment on screen. The visuals and musical score are equally impressive. There isn’t much else to say about it. It's simply a wonderful movie, one that conveys a strong sense of authenticity.
