This movie provides entertainment if you’re willing to switch off critical thinking. Ilya delivers a chaotic experience, and Odenkirk is great as usual; even when the storyline falters and struggles to hold together, there's plenty of exciting action to maintain your interest. However, it doesn’t quite succeed in its final moments, and the resolution (without giving away any details) felt underwhelming. I didn’t anticipate anything profound or remarkably unique from a typical revenge story, but considering how impactful the initial fight sequences were—a stark contrast to something like John Wick, whose protagonist seems almost superhuman—the film loses that edge and reduces its central figure to just another character protected by an excessive amount of plot armor, making it difficult to become truly engaged in what happens.
