This sequel won’t change action movies or become a yearly favorite, but it succeeds in what it sets out to do: give its intended viewers ninety minutes of clever, action-packed entertainment with funny moments and a likable main character. It's one of those situations where the established pattern, even if familiar, still delivers because everyone involved did a good job and seemed excited about the project. If they plan on sticking with this approach, that’s fine by me – as long as I keep being amused. As long as there’s a mix of intense moments and humor, plus a dedication to imaginative action sequences, I'm ready for another one. Rating: B
