While dozing one afternoon, two mice named Vini and Tom overhear God complaining to Noah about his dissatisfaction with Earth and expressing a desire to begin anew. He instructs Noah to construct an ark capable of holding pairs of every animal species, intending to then cleanse the planet with torrential rain. Animals from across the globe are subsequently invited via airmail as he begins construction. The resulting vessel isn't quite as sturdy as the one portrayed in Russell Crowe’s 2014 film, but after some amusing incidents, the animals gather and the downpour commences. A significant problem arises when a threatening lion, accompanied by his followers, decides to plunder the ark’s limited provisions before indulging in an unlimited feast. Can these courageous little mice – now joined by Nina – manage to disrupt this scheme long enough for a dove to finally locate land amidst the storm? There's nothing overtly spiritual about the narrative; it's simply a pleasant animated film featuring various jungle animals and employing unremarkable musical sequences that feel like "Ark’s Got Talent." The movie feels stretched out, perhaps lasting thirty minutes longer than necessary, but once underway, it quickly presents a story of friendship and resolve while illustrating how bullies are often the most fearful members of any group. It's admittedly unoriginal and occasionally evoked memories of “The Lion King,” yet it offers safe entertainment suitable for children during the holiday season.
