It’s hard to say which aspect is more disappointing: Lifetime revisiting old movies or the realization that I’ve seen this before. This feels like another entry into Lifetime’s catalog—the channel where male characters are consistently portrayed as abusive and violent, except when their former partners display erratic behavior, in which case they're seemingly blameless. Regardless, it plays out exactly like every other film the network produces.
