It’s interesting to see how people can learn from their errors, but some folks have lessons forced upon them by something out of this world! Another movie about souls and bodies swapping places—it's not quite as terrible as the premise might suggest. The issue is that it felt like a very standard story; I got the sense the writers didn’t really intend to create anything exceptional. That’s the first thing this film lacks. It has the feel of something made for television. The production values were impressive, especially the visual effects, but the plot wasn't elevated enough. As a result, it doesn’t quite manage to entertain viewers, particularly those who have already seen films like 'Fluke' and similar movies. Younger children might enjoy it, though this film seems aimed at all ages. Practically anyone could watch it, but don’t expect to be thrilled. It’s disappointing to learn that someone with the experience of the director of ‘Men in Black’ was involved; this is a letdown for him. I'm unsure why he took on this project—perhaps he felt pressured or had no other options. Regardless, his involvement is what gave the film its technical strengths. The story revolves around a wealthy businessman who owns the tallest building in the northern hemisphere and treats his employees poorly while neglecting his family, especially his young daughter. Then, one day, his soul gets trapped inside a cat, and the movie follows his difficult journey to return to his body. The cast was adequate, as was the script, but the CGI cat was amazing—nearly perfect for a smaller production like this. The story’s events weren't explained in enough detail; we don’t get to see how everything unfolded or its logic. Because we are familiar with these kinds of stories, they skipped over many crucial parts and jumped straight into the action, focusing on his struggles to break the curse rather than crafting a complete narrative. I think it’s fine for a one-time viewing. It's intended as a comedy, but you won’t find yourself laughing much—though it is better than some of the comedies released recently. _ 6/10_
