It’s an acceptable film, though unlikely to revisit, and its appeal seems limited to those who enjoy the found footage genre. This small-scale horror film, presented in the found footage style, possesses an intriguing concept; it brought Slenderman to mind due to the way the demonic entity pursues and torments the characters. Although Chloe Bridges’ appearance was a pleasant surprise, the movie is hampered by issues common to found footage films, notably concerns about believability. There's a moment where something is thrown in front of the camera, and I questioned whether financial constraints were so restrictive that they couldn’t simply have the viewpoint shifted away from the action. The reasoning behind obstructing the lens—the reduction of light—was understandable, but the positioning of the camera beforehand felt artificial, creating a sense that I was being cheated. Given the dark setting and limited budget, visibility is frequently poor, which isn't necessarily a negative as it creates an atmosphere of suspense. Despite its merits, I believe this film would benefit from a reimagining—a complete overhaul without relying on the found footage format.
