The film 'Night Shift' feels like a scattered attempt at what should have been a streamlined and simple movie. The desire to encompass too many elements, combined with a failure to recognize the film’s true assets, leads to an experience that is regrettable and difficult to connect with. Although commendable performances and an intriguing starting point are present, the project doesn't fully live up to its potential, and I suspect reading the book might be a more worthwhile investment of one’s time.
