There’s nothing particularly new about Natural Selection; viewers will likely recognize familiar elements from other films of its kind. The filmmakers attempted to create a romantic connection between characters that felt unconvincing and difficult to embrace. Despite efforts to offer something unique, the plot unfolded in an expected manner. The resolution was foreseeable and ultimately failed to provide a sense of completion.
