Watching Vendetta initially gave me the sense that it’s fundamentally a copy of Leon The Assassin. It feels burdened by predictable modern social commentary, and is really like a version of Leon the Assassin, only lacking much of the warmth, feeling, and attractiveness that made the original so beloved and unforgettable. The performances are good quality, though, and it's certainly not the actors’ fault that the movie doesn't stand out; the plot borrows too heavily from a previous film that was significantly better, so it only warrants a brief look. Basically, it isn't very original, incorporates some current trends, but features decent acting.
