It's enjoyable and something I’d happily watch again, and I feel comfortable suggesting it to others. Nick Krull, Adam Scott, and Jenny Slate work well together and are quite amusing. I am unsure whether Adam Scott’s depiction of someone who is blind is respectful or offensive; I suppose I need to see what people with visual impairments think about it. The familiar plot device involving the "best friend's girl" adds enjoyment, and it helps set this movie apart, even within the category of films centered around blindness. The concept of him being a highly successful athlete feels particularly original. Despite its humor and romantic elements, at its core, this is more of a “bromance” film.
