A former police officer named “Cole” has found a new purpose protecting a generous shipping tycoon who manages his worldwide business from his Bangkok home. However, things take a turn when "Tibu" (Ramon Tikaram) and his security detail are attacked; Tibu is killed, and the bodyguard is falsely accused and labeled an outlaw. Cole knows some officers were involved in the killing and that one of the deceased assassins was scheduled to work on one of the company’s cargo ships. He boards the large "Artemis" to investigate and quickly becomes entangled with questionable activities at sea, finding only the newly appointed third mate “Ellis” (Annabelle Wallis) willing to help him. With a heavily armed crew led by a threatening captain (Roland Møller) determined to silence him permanently, Cole faces an uphill battle to survive their pursuit and potentially seek retribution for his friend’s death. Unfortunately, there's little suspense to be found, and I must say this project feels overly familiar and rather boring. He quickly becomes comfortable on the ship, moving across it with ease like Grant Gustin or Ezra Miller—all while seeming impervious to bullets and knives. Møller fails to inspire much fear, although there’s a brief, enjoyable scene involving an axe later on, and the ending feels hurried and sets up a potential sequel called "Mutiny Too." This is typical Sky television programming that easily gets through ninety minutes but offers nothing new or remarkable; those seeking something different will be let down.
