I wasn’t bothered by the initial movie and I still don’t have any strong feelings against its follow-up. These are the kinds of movies that seem like they ought to be earning a 6/10 or less from me, but after each one finishes, I can't say I disliked what I had just watched. I don’t really have many good things to point out about them either, but giving it a lower score just doesn't feel right. It functions as an acceptable murder mystery * (I said the thing!)*. Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston work well together, although I don’t think they are particularly impressive as a team; however, I am happy to watch them act separately. Mark Strong, Mélanie Laurent and Adeel Akhtar also appear, and they all do what's necessary for their roles. Akhtar's character is irritating at first but ultimately becomes okay, and I like the actor from *Four Lions* and (the quality) *Utopia*. I didn’t really need another movie in this series, yet I don’t have any objections to it. I do hope they won’t make *Murder Mystery 3*, though... well, that's silly – I’d likely enjoy that one too.
