Murder Company comes across as a straightforward, passable World War II action movie. Even with Kelsey Grammer appearing in it, the film feels like something from the lower rungs of filmmaking. The plot is rudimentary, lacking any real setup or satisfying finish. Both the story and the characters move along a predictable path. However, that doesn’t mean it's unwatchable. Considering what it is, it provides some entertainment as an action movie propelled by explanations, and generally succeeds in its aims (though I can’t help but wonder why those German ammunition boxes had English writing on them...never mind). Essentially, Murder Company is a B-grade World War II action film. It's not terrible; just don't anticipate anything comparable to Saving Private Ryan, and you should be okay. This would make for decent viewing on a quiet afternoon or evening.
