Spielberg has delivered yet another film with a substantial budget, and this time it's a thriller based on true occurrences. It proved to be an enjoyable and suspenseful experience, featuring a cast that’s easy to admire. I don’t feel the need to examine the political aspects of the movie or its factual correctness; I’m simply evaluating it for how entertaining it is. There were several elements I found particularly appealing. The relationships between the members of the mission team, as they evolved, were quite remarkable. They weren't close friends initially, but a respect developed for what each person contributed to the group. Despite the constant tension, I also valued the way these men started to consider the morality of their actions. That distinguishes this story from most other thrillers. And Ciara Hinds was excellent; he brought a sense of composure to his character, a quiet strength. I’ve enjoyed his performances before, so it wasn't surprising. I don't typically enjoy thrillers, but if more movies were like this one, things could be different.
