It’s an enjoyable film that I would happily watch again and suggest to others. The movie possesses a unique blend of craziness, and it’s difficult to articulate precisely how it affects the viewer. Sam Rockwell already has a distinctive acting style, and amplifying it proves to be quite effective. Anna Kendrick, who is typically recognized for portraying teenage girl roles rather than intense action characters, manages to keep pace with Rockwell in both the action sequences and the overall sense of madness. Although there’s an initial jarring feeling due to how appealing Kendrick's character seems before Rockwell enters the picture, the film quickly becomes entertaining through its action and writing. As "Mr. Right" leaves a trail of chaos, it begins to weave together multiple storylines between the two characters; while Rockwell is the central figure for most of the runtime, I believe they share equal lead status. There’s some unusual plotting in the final act, where certain events that would typically occur early on become mini-arcs within the third act, and another event goes unexplained—or perhaps I simply missed something. The only other film that comes remotely close is "Wanted," but even then, it's a fairly superficial comparison; the deeper philosophical themes aren’t explored in the same way, and the movies have entirely different atmospheres, although both examine the morality of killing and quick reflexes. If you appreciate action films, I strongly recommend checking this one out; it provides considerable entertainment.
