It’s disheartening to say this film didn't live up to expectations; I had hoped for considerably more, but the narrative itself proved dull and lacking in appeal. Jared Leto delivers a commendable performance—it almost feels as if the movie was designed around him—and Kruger is also strong, with Regbo and Temple particularly noteworthy. Still, as mentioned earlier, the plot seems rather aimless. When it concludes, you’re left with the sense of having witnessed an unfunny gag that serves no real reason.
