This movie, "Moving," doesn’t make much of an impression and falls far short of what anyone would consider good filmmaking, regardless of genre. It's not a highlight in Richard Pryor’s filmography, instead acting as a sad illustration of how quickly his time in Hollywood was cut short. He deserved so much more than this project. It’s easy to see why Eddie Murphy, despite being less talented, managed to take the lead and build a successful and respected career—the kind that Pryor should have rightfully earned. For those who are dedicated fans of Pryor's work, watching him in something so disappointing is upsetting, especially knowing he was capable of delivering far better performances.
