It’s a captivating story, featuring a group of characters who appear to have conflicts amongst themselves, and then something strange occurs involving one of them. The characters are discovering the background information related to what's happening, and figuring out what they might need to do to resolve their predicament. I found the plot quite enjoyable; it had a sense of familiarity while still feeling innovative, which is not always simple to achieve. Fortunately, when drawing from folklore, you have the opportunity to present a new take on an existing narrative or craft something completely original based on a culture’s traditions and stories.
