The collection of scary stories offers something to appeal to diverse tastes, largely due to its thematic structure centered on the seven deadly sins. The impact of individual segments will likely vary from person to person. Given my particular preferences, ‘Second Circle: Lust’ stood out as a clear favorite; it was genuinely funny, featuring strong performances and sharp writing while possessing a certain allure that brought Kevin Smith's 'Dogma' to mind, although the overall feel is distinct. Another segment, ‘Fifth Circle: Wrath,’ generated some discussion, which I also found enjoyable. Generally speaking, fans of horror anthologies such as "ABCs of Death" should find this one quite appealing.
