It brought to mind multiple versions of The Twilight Zone episodes, both the original series and its revival. The atmosphere is quite similar, and the absence of predictable guidelines, dictated instead by the antagonist’s choices, creates an appropriately unsettling and frightening scenario for the protagonist. The film has stood the test of time, and its special effects are well-executed enough to still be appreciated today—something that's not always common with movies from this era. I would suggest it without hesitation to anyone who enjoys The Twilight Zone.
