Anime Supremacy! offers an insightful view into the often-turbulent process of anime creation, following Saito’s decision to abandon a secure path in favor of pursuing his artistic aspirations. The film illustrates how dedication can be tested by demands from the business side and the weight of individual goals. It manages to incorporate challenges related to creative work, rivalry for projects, and character development, while emphasizing that genuine artistry isn't about popularity but rather the honesty present within a narrative. While certain emotional aspects didn’t feel fully developed, it provides a considered examination of ambition, skill, and what it takes to realize a dream.
