I’m still unsure how I feel about this one. Mads Mikkelsen’s performance was a definite highlight; he’s fantastic from beginning to end. The other actors, like Kirsti Torhaug and Alexander Skarsgård, are good as well—with one exception. Samuel Fröler didn't quite work for me—he wasn't very impressive. I don’t want to criticize the actor personally, but he just seemed out of place in my view; a more intimidating presence would have been better. There's more than just Fröler that bothered me, though. The plot progression felt irritating at times, particularly with Henrik Noél Olesen’s Preben—I can’t go into details without giving too much away, but it was unbelievable. It isn't well-crafted; there are even moments where it feels foolish. I could overlook these issues occasionally, but I found myself disliking certain scenes repeatedly. When it comes to a rating, I’d say it’s around 6 or 7 out of 10—the lower score seems too strict, while the higher one might be too kind. Mikkelsen's performance almost pushes it toward the better rating. It’s not something I’ll probably watch again, but there are certainly worse ways to spend your time. *‘Exit'* is an acceptable viewing experience.
