It's not without its imperfections, but this film provides entertainment. While previous attempts to adapt Mortal Kombat have been disappointing, this one manages to be more than just an okay nod to the video games; it functions as a genuine movie complete with a narrative structure, characters who develop, and a plot that progresses from start to finish. The actors are well-chosen, and Karl particularly shines. It’s evident care went into its production, making for an enjoyable viewing experience.
