It’s only been recently that I watched this excellent film on DVD, and I have to say it ranks among the very best examples of its genre! The story centers around Willard, an insurance adjuster whose life becomes a series of bizarre escapades thanks to a rather unusual duck companion. The soundtrack is superb, the jokes are amusing even though they feel like products of their time, and although the animation isn’t quite as polished as some of Ralph Bakshi's other works, I personally found it much more enjoyable than Fritz the Cat. Anyone with an appreciation for the quirkier films from the 1970s should definitely check this one out.
