I decided to view this movie because of its impressive Metacritic score, the fact that it received 17 nominations and 4 awards, and a really appealing beginning. However, I regret spending those 102 minutes. It seems people responded favorably to it largely due to its production during the pandemic. Is that truly the reason? If I were to create a film documenting myself at home for an hour and a half, simply burping, passing gas, and picking my nose, would you rate it highly? I doubt it. Alright, perhaps this movie isn't completely awful. But it’s definitely not on par with something like "Bo Burnham: Inside." The three main characters are well-done, but I just didn't connect with it and can’t quite grasp its purpose.
