Lawrence Tierney, not often cast as a heroic figure, encounters Anne Jeffreys, and their paths become tangled in a scheme involving Nazis operating within California. The film features numerous fight scenes and instances of pistol-whipping, triggered when Jeffreys realizes that her employer, a Senator, is under surveillance. They find themselves needing to evade both Nazi agents and the authorities. While the pacing is brisk for about an hour, the narrative follows a rather foreseeable course.
