Ryan Lyons ("Micah") must travel to Mexico to save his young sister after she’s been taken captive, fearing she'll be drawn into the world of drug trafficking and sexual exploitation. He unexpectedly develops ninja-like abilities that allow him to easily defeat almost every obstacle in his path as he tries to reach her. The acting, writing, and overall narrative feel like something put together for a school assignment. Lyons seems to have been involved in nearly every aspect of production, and predictably, the lack of an outside perspective resulted in a disorganized and poorly planned story riddled with inconsistencies. There's no sense of danger at any point, and the action—if you can call it that—is built on the idea that he’s uniquely capable of succeeding, despite being consistently outnumbered, outmaneuvered, and outmatched. It’s clearly a passion project for a fairly average performer working with an equally uninspired script and supporting actors. There's not much worth noting here, even if you typically enjoy this type of film.
