Cameron’s skill is evident in how he combines suspenseful moments with exciting action sequences, yet he also enriches the movie through attention to its characters. The way Ripley changes throughout the story really highlights his strong directorial abilities. Furthermore, the appearance of the alien and the uniforms worn by the soldiers create a feeling of authenticity that goes beyond what was typical for the era, immersing viewers in the film’s unsettling and perilous setting. Because of these elements, *Aliens* is considered an exceptional work, appealing not only to those who enjoy science fiction but also to people who appreciate good movies generally.
