The pre-movie trailers are enjoyable; they shouldn’t be missed. I'm hoping to see *Treaters*, *The October Kids*, and *The Candy Taker* developed into feature films. Here’s a look at the individual segments: (marked with an X for favorites) *A Samhain Liturgy (X)* – This segment evokes the 1980s, centering on a boy named Tommy who crafts masks. His friend turns out to be anything but ordinary. *Dead Lift* – It’s a Halloween-themed story about a Lyft ride, with a vampire or someone appearing as one. *Apache Hatchet Massacre 2* – This one goes by quickly; I needed to watch it again to fully grasp what was happening. *Overkill (X)* – The segment offers a glimpse into the lives of people during Halloween-related killings. *Sister Mary* – Even a nun must confront her past wrongdoings and the demon that accompanies them. The framing story, similar to the original 10/31 anthology, was decent but not particularly striking. The soundtrack, largely composed by Rocky Gray, was excellent. It’s certainly worth watching both this collection and the first one for some unusual, gory, and entertaining Halloween tales presented in an anthology format.
