It’s remarkable to encounter a genuinely impressive and surprising thriller originating from China—one that's skillfully crafted, features strong performances, and maintains a compelling rhythm. It has the potential to be the finest film to emerge from Chinese cinema in quite some time, which is a significant statement. This courtroom drama possesses layers of complexity beneath its surface. I strongly recommend seeing it. You can view my video review of this movie, presented in 4K UHD, by visiting the link above or navigating to the MovieDB page and selecting the video tab.
