The film from Saara Saarela boasts appealing visuals and commendable production quality, likely thanks to its two million euro budget—the CGI is used judiciously. However, the premise of a young woman fighting against an oppressive regime has become familiar territory, reminiscent of films like Hunger Games and Divergent, which managed to explore that concept with more originality. While the movie looks good, it can’t compensate for a disappointing story. There are some positive aspects and memorable characters, but ultimately, this isn't a film worth seeking out. It earns 3.5 stars.
