This movie ranks among the worst I’ve ever encountered, and it's truly awful—vile, appalling, and demeaning. I frequently choose to view films that aren't very good, but this one surpasses even my expectations for badness. It seems determined to discover new depths of awfulness with each scene. Despite all of that...there's a strange thrill to be found in this film. The sheer terribleness of it somehow makes me feel more engaged than many other movies do. Remarkably, there’s an affecting and powerful death scene ("Kiss me, I'm dying"). There's also the wonderful song "Nobody Can Live Forever" by Tim Maia, which has now made its way onto my list of all-time favorite songs, and which I probably wouldn't have known otherwise. However, it’s definitely not a good film; it's simply bad. Please don’t subject yourself to watching this movie. 9 out of 10 stars.
