This isn't among Boris Karloff’s strongest portrayals as "Wong," though it maintains a decent pace. The story involves a friend of "Capt. Street" (Grant Withers) meeting an unfortunate end, and the two, together with inquisitive reporter "Bobbie" (Marjorie Reynolds), find themselves needing to uncover what happened as bodies accumulate. It’s apparent that the film was assembled quickly; the lighting felt underfunded and the script lacked depth. Despite this, there are occasional moments of humor, and Reynolds performs adequately alongside our rather uninspired pair. It's something you could pass the time with, but ultimately not very memorable.
