I found it rather unremarkable. The central idea itself isn’t particularly compelling when considered as a movie subject; there's nothing especially memorable about it. Robert Taylor delivers an acceptable performance as Podhajsky, but I haven’t been able to identify any other performances that really impressed me. Furthermore, given the film’s focus, there are surprisingly few significant scenes featuring horses. It feels like 118 minutes of dialogue primarily concerned with Podhajsky's wishes or their effect on him and the Spanish Riding School. *Miracle of the White Stallions* is just rather lifeless overall, which I didn't anticipate for a film taking place during World War II. It seems Disney intended to create an artistic movie about Austria and its Lipizzan horses—similar to what they tried with 1962’s *Almost Angels*, which centered on Vienna’s Boys’ Choir. It largely succeeded in that earlier effort, but not for me in this case.
