It's a reasonably enjoyable crime noir film, featuring John Bromfield as "Ricardo De Villa," who’s wedded to a wealthy wife (Martha Vickers) suffering from a serious illness. Her improved well-being due to the marriage prompts her husband and his other married lover to try and speed things along before she realizes what's happening. The narrative manages to be captivating, with several unexpected developments and acceptable acting performances—though not exceptional. Ultimately, it seems to suggest that appearances can be deceiving, and older women should exercise caution when dealing with younger men who appear overly eager.
