The story unfolds as an unusual journey inspired by the classic Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. Tom, portraying Orpheus, is presented as a songwriter and musician from America who has spent considerable time traveling and now intends to go back home. However, before his return to the United States, he’s required to perform at clubs throughout the Baltic region. Natascha, embodying Eurydice, originates from Russia; she traveled to Germany with the intention of marrying Karl, a prosperous businessman. Shortly prior to their wedding ceremony, Natascha disappears. The lives of Natascha and Tom intersect in Kaliningrad.
