It's unusual to come across this excellent British film, though it certainly should be more widely viewed. People often draw comparisons to Mike Leigh, but it truly merits recognition in its own right. The story unfolds in Southend and centers around the world of rap battles, managing to be both thrilling and deeply affecting. It strikes a perfect balance, resulting in a genuinely pleasant and inspiring filmgoing experience.
