It’s hard to believe I'm only just seeing this now; I can’t quite recall what prompted the delay, but I’m glad I finally watched it. It's a superb film across the board—the acting by Anthony Perkins is excellent, and the overall feeling it creates is wonderful. I found myself appreciating every moment, even though I was already familiar with most of the story because so many memorable moments and phrases have become well-known over time. While I don’t know if this is my number one Hitchcock film—*Rear Window* remains my preference—it's easy to understand why it has remained so impactful decades later. **4.5/5**
