Disney’s initial effort exploring Indian cinema marks a respectable start. *Do Dooni Chaar* presents a generally pleasant and often funny idea centered around the challenges of education and living frugally; essentially, a look at society through that lens. While I don't believe it completely manages to balance its serious themes with lighter moments, it still establishes a good rapport with viewers. Rishi Kapoor is quite amusing as Santosh, and he’s definitely the strongest element in this film. Neetu Singh (as Kusum), Aditi Vasudev (as Payal), and Archit Krishna (as Sandy) also deliver acceptable performances portraying his family. The cast overall is adequate. The conclusion felt a bit shaky in how it played out, though I understand what they were aiming for. The rhythm of the story isn't flawless either. Nevertheless, because of its underlying message and genuine feeling, this was an enjoyable experience. It’s a fairly average Disney production.
