It’s not exactly good, but there's something entertaining about it. Robert Bronzi has a familiar face—he resembles Charles Bronson. Eva Hamilton, though, possesses one of those faces that feels like you should recognize it, and after checking her IMDb page, it turns out you haven't seen her before... And that’s disappointing. She performs admirably, convincingly portraying genuine interest in Bronzi’s character, which is quite a feat considering he often seems stiff and lifeless. If she can deliver a worthwhile performance against that kind of acting, she deserves far more opportunities. She accomplishes this despite truly awful dialogue. In my opinion, that makes her the world's greatest actress. Everything seemed designed to work against her—the other actors, the script, the direction, even the production quality—yet she still managed to do a good job. Eva Hamilton deserves praise for giving it her all. It’s one thing to appear professional in a Martin Scorsese film, but doing so in a Rene Perez movie demonstrates real talent. The same can be said for Daniel Baldwin, who is more experienced and enters this mess seemingly unscathed. He portrays a talk show host reminiscent of Sean Hannity and manages to make some valid observations along the way. Specifically, it's not racism that causes discomfort when Latinos are dressed as gang members—tattoos, hoodies, the whole stereotypical package—but unease around those who don’t fit that image. Richard Tyson, with a smaller role, still finds a way to make something of it, which is remarkable given his previous work. I've seen some terrible movies featuring him, but he manages to redeem this one in an unexpected way. I suspect his character might be a parody, and he executes it well while also making a few insightful comments. Robert Bronzi, however, doesn’t seem to know how to properly handle a gun, particularly when wielding something with the firepower he's supposedly using. Fortunately, the excessive amount of blood helps compensate for his shortcomings as an actor. Ultimately, this is a Ron Perez film that was rescued from complete disaster by two capable performers. Without Baldwin, Tyson, and Hamilton, it would have been as bad as "From Hell to the Wild West."
