This movie, about ten people who receive invitations to a dinner hosted by Mr. U.N. Owen and subsequently begin to die, really appeals to my wife and me—it's my top pick among Agatha Christie adaptations. I first encountered this film when I was younger, and it completely surprised me with its cleverness. Even though I’m familiar with the plot now, it remains an enjoyable experience. The script is well-crafted, the suspense builds steadily, and the reveal of the killer is a traditional highlight. It's worth seeking out versions that include this reveal; my Amazon purchase lacked it, which was quite frustrating. I don’t understand why they would edit something like that out. -- DrNostromo.com
