It’s unusual to see Bernard Cribbins in something where he has to say "pants" with any kind of sexual implication, and this seems like the only instance I can think of. He portrays a detective constable who gets put on a difficult criminal investigation but quickly becomes involved in a fifteen-year-old unsolved case concerning a missing young girl. His moniker is “Dangerous,” and he dedicates a significant portion of the subsequent two hours—at some personal risk—to figuring out what happened to that girl, while also attempting to apprehend his primary suspect. Bill Maynard, who’s generally recognized for comedic roles, performs admirably as his friend "Mod," and there are several other recognizable actors throughout this quite pleasant and distinctive mystery adventure. The film could probably benefit from trimming about twenty minutes of the initial setup scenes, but overall it's a rather entertaining drama that I unexpectedly found myself enjoying.
