This movie, based on Kazune Kawahara's manga Aozora Yell, centers around Yamada and Ono, two young people dealing with friendship, romance, and challenges as they work toward their goals. Even though the film runs for a while, it’s held together by good performances from the cast, an emotional musical score, and lessons about sticking with things that most viewers can connect to. The story really drives home the idea that going after what you want isn't simple, but experiencing defeat can lead to positive outcomes.
