The film delivers some genuine humor, despite having developed an unfavorable image over time. It significantly surpasses comedies often considered classics, such as _Caddyshack_ and _Animal House_; attempting to view those now might be a disappointing experience, with only a handful of amusing instances present in each. _Movie 43_ offers numerous moments that elicit laughter. The structure resembles the anthology format found in _Kentucky Fried Movie_, but unlike that poorly made collection, this one is skillfully put together. Interestingly, there are two distinct versions available, and the narrative connecting the individual segments varies between them. I suspect the negative critical reception stemmed from overly cautious and politically correct reviewers; audiences simply need to relax and enjoy themselves. It earns a rating of 9/10 stars.
